Also a native of the Tidewater Area and a graduate of Lake Taylor High School class of 2009. She then began her human resources career in 2010 while serving a 4 year term in the United States Army. After completing her term she proceeded to graduate college and obtained her Certification as a Pharmacy Technician. She took over at Nottingham Family Dentistry as our Office Coordinator in May of 2015 and has continued to excell, both in knowledge and customer relations. She is a loving dedicated mother of one and a gym and nature enthusiast. In her down time she enjoys a day at the beach, going on a hike, or a solid gym workout.
A native of the Tidewater Area, Sarah completed her Dental Training at Norfolk Technical Vocational Center. Sarah has since been assisting in providing quality dental care for the past 23 years, 8 of which have been right here at Nottingham Family Dentistry. Her exceptional knowledge and attention to detail are second to none, making her the perfect fit to assist our patients in meeting their dental goals.
Dr. Jim Nottingham
A native of Charlottesville, Va., Dr. Nottingham received his dental education at the Medical University or South Carolina and entered the Naval Dental Corps shortly thereafter. After completing his General Practice Residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, he underwent a year of Post-Graduate Training in Dental Specialties. His additional training includes those in Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, and E.N.T. He completed a two year Endodontic/Periodontics assignment followed by additional training at the Naval Dental Center of Norfolk. Dr. Nottingham completed his Naval Dental career with two years of independent duty at the Armed Forces Staff College in Norfolk. Dr. Nottingham also has continuing education in the treatment of Sleep Disorders and has personally developed a custom sleep apparatus for treatment.
Dr. Nottingham is a long-time member of the Downtown Norfolk Council and a charter member and president (2011-2012) of the Norfolk Sunrise Rotary Club. He frequently volunteers his services with the Homeless Connect and various Mission of Mercy projects conducted by the Virginia Dental Association. He has been a long-time volunteer at the Park Place Dental Clinic as a Clinician and Supervisor of Fourth-Year Dental Students.
